Refund Policy

Effective Date: 6 May 2026

This Refund Policy explains the conditions, eligibility requirements, review procedures, and limitations relating to subscription refunds, billing disputes, and payment-related issues for Cashiva.

By purchasing a subscription or paid feature within Cashiva, you agree to this Refund Policy in addition to the Cashiva Terms of Service and Subscription Terms.

Overview

Cashiva offers digital subscription-based financial management services and premium features. Because digital services are accessible immediately after activation, refunds are reviewed carefully and are not automatically guaranteed.

Our refund process is designed to balance fairness to users, platform integrity, abuse prevention, and operational sustainability.

Free Trial Policy

Cashiva may provide eligible users with a free trial period before billing begins. The free trial exists to allow users to explore the platform, evaluate premium functionality, and determine whether the service fits their needs.

Users are responsible for monitoring trial expiration dates and cancelling before billing if they do not wish to continue. If a free trial converts into a paid subscription after the trial period ends, charges may not automatically qualify for refunds.

Eligible Refund Situations

Refund requests may be reviewed for situations including:

  • Duplicate charges
  • Unauthorized purchases
  • Billing system errors
  • Technical failures preventing reasonable platform access
  • Accidental purchases under qualifying circumstances
  • Subscription activation failures

Refund eligibility is determined at Cashiva's discretion unless otherwise required by law.

Non-Eligible Refund Situations

Refunds are generally NOT provided for:

  • Unused subscription time
  • Partial billing periods
  • Failure to cancel before renewal
  • Dissatisfaction after meaningful platform usage
  • Preference changes
  • Temporary service interruptions
  • Misunderstanding of features clearly described before purchase
  • Expired free trial conversions
  • Promotional or discounted purchases unless legally required

Monthly Subscription Refunds

For monthly subscriptions, refund requests should generally be submitted within 48 hours of the billing charge. Requests submitted after extended usage or significant account activity may not qualify for refunds.

Annual Subscription Refunds

For annual subscriptions, refund requests may be reviewed within 7 days of the billing charge. Eligibility may depend on level of platform usage, feature access activity, account behavior, and billing circumstances.

Cashiva reserves the right to deny refund requests where abuse, excessive usage, or policy violations are detected.

Lifetime Purchase Refunds

Lifetime purchases are generally non-refundable, except where duplicate charges occurred, unauthorized purchases are verified, required by applicable consumer protection laws, or severe technical failures prevented access.

Because lifetime purchases grant long-term or permanent premium access, refund abuse protections are strictly enforced.

Unauthorized Purchases

If you believe a purchase was unauthorized, contact Cashiva support immediately. Cashiva may request transaction details, account verification, and additional supporting information.

Fraudulent refund claims or chargeback abuse may result in account suspension, subscription termination, or restricted platform access.

Duplicate Charges

Verified duplicate billing errors may qualify for refunds after review and confirmation. Cashiva reserves the right to investigate duplicate charge claims before issuing refunds.

Technical Issues

Refund requests related to technical failures may be reviewed if the issue significantly prevented platform usage, could not reasonably be resolved, and originated from Cashiva systems.

Temporary outages, maintenance periods, or isolated bugs may not automatically qualify for refunds.

App Store & Marketplace Purchases

If your subscription was purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, refund requests may be subject to the policies and billing systems of those platforms.

  • Apple App Store purchases — contact Apple Support
  • Google Play Store purchases — contact Google Play Support

Cashiva does not control Apple or Google refund decisions. Users may need to contact the applicable marketplace provider directly.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds may require several business days to process depending on payment provider, banking institution, and regional processing timelines. Cashiva does not control external banking or payment processing delays.

Abuse Prevention

Cashiva reserves the right to deny refund requests where repeated refund abuse is detected, suspicious activity is identified, policy manipulation is suspected, or excessive subscription cycling occurs.

Accounts engaging in refund abuse may face access restrictions, account suspension, or permanent termination.

Subscription Cancellation

Cancelling a subscription prevents future renewals but does not automatically trigger a refund and does not retroactively cancel previous billing periods. Users remain responsible for managing subscription settings before renewal dates.

Chargebacks

Users are encouraged to contact Cashiva support before initiating chargebacks through banks or payment providers. Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in account suspension, access restrictions, or investigation procedures.

Regional Consumer Rights

Certain jurisdictions may provide additional consumer protection rights that override portions of this Refund Policy. Where legally required, Cashiva will comply with applicable consumer protection laws and refund obligations.

Policy Changes

Cashiva reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time in response to operational changes, legal requirements, subscription updates, fraud prevention needs, or platform improvements. Updated versions may be published through the website or application.

Cashiva's refund process is designed to maintain fairness, transparency, and operational integrity while protecting both users and the long-term sustainability of the platform.
